What people usually send home

What we need for collection
- the full UK address, with postcode (for example “M14 5AB”);
- the Romanian address: county (județ), town or village, street, number and, for villages, the commune (comună);
- the recipient’s name and phone number in Romania;
- what’s inside and roughly how much it weighs.
Delivery in Romania
We deliver to the address, villages included. The recipient gets a call beforehand so they can be at home. If the address is hard to find, a landmark (“next to the school”, “the house with the green gate”) helps a lot.
Rules for parcels entering Romania
Romania is in the European Union and the UK no longer is, so customs rules apply to some goods. For ordinary presents and personal belongings we’ll explain on the phone what you need to know. The official information is on the Romanian Customs Authority website.

Items not allowed in parcels
Don’t put these in your parcel – we can’t carry them:
- Spirits
- Tobacco products
- Weapons
- Drugs
- Gold or silver items
- Cash
- Anything else prohibited by law
Transport conditions
- The sender is directly responsible for how shipments are packed and labelled; we accept no liability if they are damaged as a result.
- If a parcel is lost or damaged, the sender will be compensated with twice the transport price.
- If the value of the parcel was declared, the injured party will be compensated according to the declared value.
- If the recipient can’t be contacted, the parcel will be returned to the sender, at the sender’s cost.
MANDATORY: By handing the parcel to the courier, the sender agrees to these conditions, whether or not they have signed the transport document.
