How to pack
Use strong cardboard boxes suitable for the weight of the shipment. Make sure items cannot move freely inside the box. Fill empty spaces with bubble wrap, paper or protective packing material. Wrap fragile items individually. Separate glass, ceramic and porcelain items with protective material. For fragile items, double-boxing is recommended. Seal all sides of the box with strong packing tape. Do not use damaged, wet or deformed boxes. Do not overload boxes. Distribute the weight evenly. Pack food separately from non-food items. Food must be placed in clean, sealed and leak-proof containers. Refrigerated goods must use packaging suitable for temperature-controlled transport. Temperature-sensitive goods are accepted only after confirming transport conditions. Do not use loose ice that can melt and leak. Use suitable insulated packaging for temperature-sensitive goods. Liquid containers must be tightly sealed. Place liquids inside an additional leak-proof bag. Use absorbent material around liquid containers. Wrap glass jars individually. Check all lids and seals before shipping. Vacuum-packed products should also be placed inside protective outer packaging. Electronics should preferably be shipped in their original packaging. Protect screens with rigid material and bubble wrap. Protect electronic components against impact. Place clothes and textiles inside a protective bag before boxing. Pack footwear separately or in its original box. Vehicle parts must be clean and free from fuel, oil or other liquids. Protect all sharp edges. Disassemble furniture whenever possible. Protect furniture corners and edges. Secure bicycles and protect them against scratches. Place heavy items at the bottom of the box. Place light and fragile items on top. Every parcel must include the sender's details. Every parcel must include the recipient's name and telephone number. Clearly display the complete delivery address. We recommend placing a copy of the recipient's details inside the parcel. Declare the contents of every parcel accurately. Prepare all required customs documents before collection. CRC Transporte reserves the right to refuse improperly packed parcels or prohibited contents.

Every parcel travels refrigerated

Every parcel we collect – from Romania to the UK or from the UK to Romania – travels refrigerated. You don’t need to choose a separate service or ask for it when you book.

Rules for food

The UK has strict rules on food of animal origin (meat, dairy and more) brought in from the European Union. Many of these products are not allowed into the country, however they are transported. Before you pack, read the official rules on GOV.UK – Bringing food into Great Britain and our prohibited items list.

How to send

Work out the price in the calculator as for any parcel, then book online, on WhatsApp or by phone.

Items not allowed in parcels

Don’t put these in your parcel – we can’t carry them:

  • Spirits
  • Tobacco products
  • Weapons
  • Drugs
  • Gold or silver items
  • Cash
  • Anything else prohibited by law

Transport conditions

  • The sender is directly responsible for how shipments are packed and labelled; we accept no liability if they are damaged as a result.
  • If a parcel is lost or damaged, the sender will be compensated with twice the transport price.
  • If the value of the parcel was declared, the injured party will be compensated according to the declared value.
  • If the recipient can’t be contacted, the parcel will be returned to the sender, at the sender’s cost.

MANDATORY: By handing the parcel to the courier, the sender agrees to these conditions, whether or not they have signed the transport document.
