What you can send
Most parcels we carry are family parcels: clothes, shoes, books, toys, household items, documents and packaged Romanian food. If you have something unusual – a fragile item, an appliance or something very heavy – tell us beforehand so we can explain how to pack it and confirm we can take it.
How the price is worked out
The price is based on the parcel’s weight. For large but light parcels (a duvet or a big box of toys, for example) the size matters too, because they take up a lot of space in the van. The calculator shows you step by step how the total was reached, and current rates are on the Prices page.
What to have ready before collection
- Pack the parcel in a strong box and seal it well with tape. There are tips in our packing guide.
- Write the UK recipient’s name and phone number on the box.
- Have the full UK address ready, including the postcode. Without it, delivery may be delayed.
- Keep your phone nearby on collection day – we’ll call when we’re in the area.
Customs rules after Brexit
The UK is no longer part of the European Union, so some goods have rules and limits set by the UK authorities. We’ll tell you on the phone what you need to know about your parcel. The official information is on GOV.UK.
How to book
Use the price calculator and press “Book transport”, give us a call or send us a WhatsApp message. We’ll confirm the collection day by phone.
Items not allowed in parcels
Don’t put these in your parcel – we can’t carry them:
- Spirits
- Tobacco products
- Weapons
- Drugs
- Gold or silver items
- Cash
- Anything else prohibited by law
Transport conditions
- The sender is directly responsible for how shipments are packed and labelled; we accept no liability if they are damaged as a result.
- If a parcel is lost or damaged, the sender will be compensated with twice the transport price.
- If the value of the parcel was declared, the injured party will be compensated according to the declared value.
- If the recipient can’t be contacted, the parcel will be returned to the sender, at the sender’s cost.
MANDATORY: By handing the parcel to the courier, the sender agrees to these conditions, whether or not they have signed the transport document.
